Projects

We are excited to welcome new cohorts of interns to the Spatial Data Lab (SDL) Internship Program. Our current internship is coordinated by Yogya Kalra and Yogender Yadav, who are supporting the progress tracking and fellow assignments across our projects.

Yogya Kalra, a CGA Affiliate since 2021, is an undergraduate student at Western University in Canada, pursuing a double degree in Biology and Business Administration. With a strong background in geospatial analysis and science communication, Yogya has contributed to numerous data-driven initiatives at CGA and now leads the SDL internship program to foster youth engagement in geospatial research.

Yogender Yadav is a  PhD student in Urban and Regional Development at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Bringing expertise in urban planning and geospatial data visualization, Yogender is committed to applying advanced tools—including LiDAR, photogrammetry, and spatial modeling—to real-world challenges. His involvement with SDL provides valuable mentorship and coordination support to interns, while complementing his own academic research.
