 China has experienced rapid rural development within recent years. This webinar will discuss available statistics, census data, and GIS data for the spatial study of rural development in China, including the following topics: (1) data sources, collection, category, definition, and interpretation; (2) alternative data sources; (3) comparison of the difference between the US and China data; (4) discussions of pros and cons; (5) workflow-based data analysis case studies based on published papers.
